Our history starts in 1955, when Agape and her husband Dovilio bought the oil mill and started producing extra virgin olive oil and selling it mainly in cans with no label. When their daughter Nilvana joined them, she brought a picture of her mother to a typographer and since then the face of the woman who would unconditionally support her family, became the logo of the company, to celebrate the purest ingredient we press together with the olives: Love.
The traditional method with large millstones was changed in 1978 for the modern method, with steel drums. Since then, the combination between new technologies and ancient wisdom allowed us to obtain the extra virgin olive oil “Agape”, which has won many national and international prizes. We monitor every step of the process with great care: we start choosing the most intense flavored olives, we harvest them at the best ripening moment, then we press them within the next 24 hours, to keep all the sensorial properties of the fruit.
